With this type of lease, you are only responsible for your
student’s rent. The lease will include 1 bedroom and a fraction of
the apartment’s common area. The benefit of this is that in the
event that a roommate moves out, your students rent will remain the
same and they will not be liable for any other financial
Do you offer roommate matching services?
-The Bellamy offers roommate matching based on a personality
profile created at the time of application. Your student will not
have to worry about filling an entire apartment on their own as
this is another advantage to the individual lease.
Do you need renters insurance?
-While we do not require renters insurance, it is highly
recommended for your peace of mind and protection from unforeseen
events. In the event of natural disaster or fire, renters insurance
will cover the replacement of belongings. For your convenience, we
provide information for Protection Choice, a national provider of
insurance to the multifamily industry. You can find more

What all is included in the rent price?
-EVERYTHING! Your rent at the Bellamy includes the monthly
installment of rent, expanded cable with six channels of HBO, high
speed internet, all utilities, planned resident functions, the
furniture package, and transit to and from UofL and

-Sofa, side chair, coffee table and side table, barstools, 32” or
larger flat screen television, full size bed frame and mattress,
desk and chair, stackable dressers, individual private bathrooms,
full size washer and dryer and all major kitchen
How do we pay rent?
-All of our residents and parental guarantors will have access to
our online resident portal where you will make payments and view
payment history! All payments must be made online and you will have
the option to set up automatic payments or one-time payments using
a checking account, money order or credit/debit card. Rent is due
on the 1st of
each month and late after the 5th.
Is there onsite management and maintenance?
-Yes! The Bellamy staff is here to help your Student in any way
that we can. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9-7, Saturday 10-5
and Sunday 1-5.
As well, we have an excellent maintenance staff to address any
maintenance concerns your student may have with their apartment in
a timely manner. We also provide an emergency line for all after
hour maintenance emergencies.
